GridPocket Systems (GPS)

GridPocket Systems SA (GPS) is a fast growing technology start-up company, created in 2011, and specialized in the energy efficiency online services. The company has its R&D offices in Poland and France, and it is very active on the European energy market. GPS is one of the very first companies in the world to provide highly scalable behavioral value added service platforms dedicated to the smart metering applications. GPS core technology includes high performance data processing,open standards platform, energy predictive expert systems and above all its consumer’s behavioral analysis protocols. GPS has participated to research project founded by Polish Government, and been labeled “Innovate Enterprise” by CapEnergies, a national competitive cluster. The behavioral research project initiated and coordinated by GPS. (“Grid-Teams”) has won a prestigious French national award “Green Digital Growth Award” in 2011. GPS cooperates with large research centers such as Telecom ParisTech, Eurecom, Mines ParisTech, INRIA, and University of Life Science in Warsaw (SGGW). GPS contributes its technological expertise in energy related value added services to the activities of several public-interest organizations, including ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and CRE (French Energy Regulations Commission). GPS has currently about 10 employees and associates based in the offices of Gdansk (Poland) and Sophia-Antipolis (France).
